MORGXN - HARD PILL TO SWALLOW

Nashville born, LA transplant (aren't we all?) morgxn is following up on his ridiculously catchy tune "Home" with his first release of 2017 entitled "hard pill to swallow." This fearlessly vulnerable tune not only puts his vocal brilliance on display with the brilliant falsetto, but also further exposes the moody brilliance that we've seen developing on prior releases. We've also heard that this tune comes with the announcement of the looming Vital EP coming later this year. Brooklyn, you can catch Morgxn at the Neon Gold pop shop 1/20 at Baby's All Right and a few select showcases at SXSW (wink wink) this March. ELI WAY & IAN EWING - HAPPY WITH U (FEAT. NAJI)

It's been a hell of a week. One full of hope, and excitement...despair and frustration. I was encouraged by some of the responses to our new president elect and discouraged by others. Respect is the most important thing to me and while many have been surprised and confused about the results we have to continue forward and overcome adversity. Life is full of setbacks, but it's about how you respond to those setbacks that will prove the real test of your mettle. Having said that, the real reason I'm divulging into such a rant is that I want everyone to just RELAX. You'll never solve anything upset so I'm providing you with this musical dose of chill to bring us back to square one. Eli Way just recently came onto my radar and oooohhh I'm soo glad he did. This amazing future soul producer has put out some absolutely amazing records like "If It Makes You Happy feat. Cehryl" and "Just Wanna Love You". I promise you this guy is ready to explode and I'm super excited to provide the introduction! Dive into his newest "Happy With U" co-written with Milwaukee based soul producer brethren Ian Ewing featuring rapper Naji. Start keeping tabs because this is just the beginning. 

GOLDWASH - LDR

This one slipped past my radar - but I mean it's impossible to catch every rad song coming out these days. However, it came up on my feed and I am sorta swooning over it, so I wanted to throw it up here for you guys to hear! Goldwash is a yung producer from Baltimore and his latest track "LDR" has got me feeling some kind of way! With sweet soulful vocals and deep R&B grooves, Goldwash is all about the sexy time .... HARLOE- ALL IN MY FEELINGS

Brand spanking new music alert riiiight here y'all - Harloe nailed this! Newcomer to the scene, this multi talented singer/songwriter has been crushing things behind closed doors, writing for the likes of Britney Spears and Charli XCX. Now she has found her own voice and released her debut track "All In My Feelings" and it crushes! Harloe tapped into my inner spirit by self-producing this track that's perfect for all the turnt up sad-girls out there in the world. The electro R&B vibes here are real yo, and her vocals are like a dream soaked in soulful layers of satiny feels ... I'm so into this!  And let's all give a high five for the coolest ending of a song I've heard in a minute! Gotta get into this one kids!   

DENNY WHITE - PSYCHO

We all have to take the good with the bad in life, and sometimes it can be rather challenging. Personally - my career is taking off! I have an amazing job that I love where I get to put together lineups for club nights, electronic music events and festivals - kinda kick ass.  Also, this here blog is growing a such a fast rate I legit can't keep up! It's all good, but then holy mac it drives me crazy! Some days I am pulled in so many directions that if I don't shut everything down and take a breath I'll go psycho! Good with the bad.... Denny White is feeling me however, and if you were to ask me what's good riiiight now - I'd say this track! "Psycho" is electro pop perfection - his vocals are so soulful and dreamy I'm swooning. He just get's me. If you're feeling a bit psycho today then this one should be the perfect thing to soothe your soul! 

GRIZ - GOTTA PUSH ON (FT. BRASSTRACKS & ERIC KRASNO)

Oh man this might just be one of my favorite GRiZ tracks yet! As one of the primary artists in my mind that has been slowly pushing the funk and soul agenda onto the dance music scene, GRiZ has done so with style, saxophone, distorted synths and boatloads of bass. However "Gotta Push On" is not the most bombastic record which, in my opinion, makes it that much more special. It hits with the same kind of hype and energy that embodies many of GRiZ's other records except that the chorus leads with Brasstracks...yes BRASSTRACKS' sexy horns. Eric Krasno sounds superb and the choir that he got to sing in the end crushes! This track I feel epitomizes the direction GRiZ has been pushing toward for many years, and comes at the perfect time. Just about the only thing missing from a track of this magnitude is a slick verse from sayyyy I don't know...Anderson .Paak. Ha ha I know...a guy can dream right? Anyways, until that dream becomes a reality just take a second to enjoy a remarkable artist seemingly at the height of his game. "Gotta Push On" comes as the final single released before GRiZ drops his new LP 'Good Will Prevail' this Friday Sept. 23. LEMAITRE - PLAYING TO LOSE FEAT. STANAJ

Lemaitre is just one of those artists...next level to the extreme! I haven't had the opportunity to see their awesome live set yet, but I've seen the videos and it's very much on my to do list (check out this video). Every single one of their releases is just absolutely mind blowing, check out the smash singles "Closer," their funky collab with our faves The Knocks in "We Got U," and the hard hitting "Stepping Stone," featuring another one of our loves Mark Johns. Musically complex, well produced, soulful, emotional, impactful...I could use soo many more descriptions, but I'll just let the music do the talking. "Playing To Lose" starts quick with Stanaj's superbly soulful vocals leading the way behind layers of luscious synths. The incredibly infectious chorus hits making me bob and weave around my desk right now. Stanaj's performance is absolutely impeccable, the falsetto's, solos and everything just hits with all sorts of feels. The track just continues to climb peak after peak, and by the end you're left absolutely breathless. Take a second and soak this one in my friends. SNAKEHIPS - CRUEL (TA-KU REMIX)

My day was pretty much made with this one riiight here! I saw it come up late last night as an exclusive premiere somewhere so had to wait until today for it to go wide, and ooh ahh ooh it's so delicious I'm swooning! Can we all just feel this arousing groove on a Friday afternoon? Ta-ku has spread his thick R&B flavor all over "Cruel" by Snakehips - it's real nice! 

DENM - GREEN

Oh DENM -- everything this kid is putting into the world is perfection! This Los Angeles electro pop artist is slaying with this soulful dance grooves and wistful vocals, and his next original "Green" has got me feeling some kind of way.  DENM drops his debut EP, Dreamhouse, on August 26 - definitely something you can't pass up! Get into this one kids!
