KILL PARIS - JUNKIE FT. NEVVE & MONSTRE (DNMO REMIX)

One of my favorite young producers right now is this kid DNMO from the UK. For being a mere 15 years young, he's already proving he has what it takes to sit at the adult table. His new remix of "Junkie ft. Nevve & Monstre" by Kill Paris has so many yummy future pop feels that hit's hard in all the right places. Perfect for throwing some trap arms! DNMO is going to have a ton of mew music coming out in the weeks to come, and we'll be here to watch his rise to greatness! DAN FARBER - TAKE ME HIGH

Not gonna lie kids - I'm so behind with all things I'm having trouble knowing what day it is! I call this the SXSW Effect! Every year around this time, a month out from our huge party we throw at SXSW, I am so overloaded with work it's stupid. Basically it's like a I have 3 full time jobs, Beautiful Buzzz + Crossroads + SXSW. I'm not getting a whole lot of sleep ..... So, this is why I am WAY late with this new track "Take Me High" from fresh Tel Aviv producer Dan Farber. He's given us a super sexy future bass pop track that has some serious feel good groove. I feel like this one needs to be heard whether I'm late to the party or not - it's delicious! 

FRND - SUBSTITUTE

My next one today comes from former sousaphone enthusiast and native of one of the first American colonies. That might just be all we know about this yet to be revealed artist FRND other than the fact that he's given us some killer tunes so far in "Sticks and Stones" and the debut "Friend" and doesn't seem to be slowing given his latest "Substitute." Just in time for Valentine's day this airy love song pleads that he can be "The substitute for the hole in your heart". The tune bumps and weaves along with vocals warps and a chippy snare. A guitar chop melody furnishes out the finale as we're left feeling alrighttt.  

[PREMIERE] JANELLE KROLL - FVR (GUNN REMIX)

I've got a fun one for you right here. If you haven't heard of this up-and-coming singer Janelle Kroll then we're excited to give you the drop on this one. Her debut 'Outsider EP' had considerable blog support and kicked this train into action. "FVR" is one of my favorites from the EP so I was definitely intrigued when her camp sent over this Gunn remix. The track starts perky with light synthwork that evolves into a bumping bass line. The first verse rolls through with Janelle's vocals coaxing us into a explosion of synthwork that flows up and down in the chorus. "While the original is fairly laid back, I felt that Janelle's vocals had an anthemic quality to them which could be brought out with expansive, punchy production. I used layered instrumentation in the build to create an epic feel that gradually builds tension, leading to a driving, explosive payoff underpinned by a simple yet effective riff that maintains its energy all the way to the end of the track." -Gunn I definitely didn't expect to hear where this tracks goes and I'll think you'll be surprised too.

MAHALO FT. CAT LEWIS - BE MY LOVE (FAMBA REMIX)

Mahalo's had a great 2016 rising up through the ranks with his new breed of what he calls liquid house. We supported the original release of "Be My Love ft. Cat Lewis" out on one of my favorite imprints No Definition - a sub label Enormous Tunes. I thought Famba did a terrific job with his re-work and is already climbing up the Beatport future chart. Cat's vocals are soo infectious so you can easily dive into this one. You can listen on Spotify too here.

ILLENIUM - FRACTURES (FT. NEVVE)

So, I'm having one of those weeks - the kind when you just want to go home and get into bed - putting all your frustrations and mistakes behind the negative vibe ... because tomorrow is another day! Good thing my friend Illenium slid into my DMs with his new track "Fractures ft. Nevve" - it's been a bright spot within this gloomy rainy week. As usual Illenium brings all the sweetness with his signature melodic trap sound - his future feels are on point, and this lively new track is giving me the warm and fuzzies. Delicious! New show y'all - one I am so excited about I can hardly contain myself.  I've been waiting to do a show with Dutch producer San Holo for almost 2 years now, and finally that time has come! FILOUS - GOODBYE (FT. MAT KEARNEY)

Wow filous (pronounced fih-loo ha ha i def got it wrong for a while) just can do no wrong. This young Austrian (only 19!) has wisdom and skills well beyond his years, and its no wonder the industry has taken such notice. His brand of folky electronic relies on real instruments, and does so in such an smooth way. His latest "Goodbye" is winter-inspired cross-breed of ambient electronic and pop. Mat Kearney's voice gives the tune a singer-songwriter like quality to it that mixes perfectly with filous' often guitar filled instrumental.
