We're kicking off another week stacked with new music after yesterday's Not My President's Day holiday, and I have a fire premiere for y'all! Los Angeles legend Ghastly handed us this huge new track "The Spiders Symphony" and it's delicious! Not sure if you guys have ever been to a Ghastly show, and if not you should because this kid slays! High intensity and big drops, you cant help but to loos all control of your body head banging and throwing trap arms ... it's a great experience! This new track reflects that vibe 100% - even sitting at my desk I wanna throw some trap arms while listening! Just your luck, there are a bunch of tour dates coming up - and yea .... quite a few are sold out but hey, there's always a way in if you put your mind to it! Listen and love! 

BREATHE CAROLINA X IZII - ECHO (LET GO) (SEAN TURK REMIX)

It’s been exciting to watch Sean Turk start to make a name for himself over the past 10 months. He has an undeniably smooth and vibey production style which straddles indie, pop, and dance while also bringing a little something fresh to every new release. He calls it “Bedroom Bass” which sort of describes it, but it’s more universal than that. 

This latest remix is his first official release for Spinnin’ Records. He’s taken Breathe Carolina and IZII’s “ECHO (LET GO)” which is a great emotional pop/electronic ballad and given it a darkly-tinted future bass makeover. Lush silky synths, pretty piano flourishes, thick wavey chords, and an assortment of powerful yet intricate beats adorn this masterpiece of a rework. Definitely excited to see an original from him, hopefully soon!

TASTYTREAT - FALLIN' IN LOVE

This one is a hangover release from lovebird day last Tuesday, but damn TastyTreat crushed it with their newest release "Fallin' In Love". I love how this tune is a perfect concoction of future bass goodness with that layer of <3 for your bae. Love transcends all, and especially in these trying times we need to focus on things that we can control. Oh man Joe Mason has just been wrecking the remix game lately, and he's struck mega flames again with this moving remix of up-and-comers Stalgia. I'm such a fan of this remix, it has depth and dynamic, warming walls of synth wobbles, fantastic sound design and damn I get to premiere this?? So pumped. Y'all please please get on this Joe Mason train, this remix has totally re-invigorated the original in a way that makes this track huge. This one is gonna get played out...a...lot. Oh and whatttt??? KRANE X DNMO - SAKURA

Dang I don't have much time to blog, but had to throw up this dope new track from KRANE and the youngster DNMO. "Sakura" has a lot going on there's dope sound design, a fluffy melody and then it explodes into a bombastic gut busting drop that's very filling. Ear candy meets booty shaking bliss - what more could you want! Oh I know what more I could want - a free DL too, and they've so graciously given us that as well!

KID FROOPY - SHOW ME

Des Moines based Kid Froopy just released an original track that hits with a one-two combo of emotional enveloping lyricism, and a hard, driving refrain. When a song can force you to invest yourself with such minimalist narrative, if any at all, its a sign of a keeper.
