[PREMIERE] FAREOH FEAT. LILIANNA WILDE - FAMOUS

Music, PREMIERE, Original MixAlli LindseyComment

In an enchanting collaboration, New York's progressive electronic producer Fareoh and singer-songwriter Lilianna Wilde teamed up to unveil "Famous," an intellectual future-bass psalm. Fareoh takes off with a soft, near rustic, electro-pop beat that illuminates Wilde's crystal clear vocals. As the track continues to unfold, passion ensues as geometric sounds oscillate Wilde's emotionally demanding verses."Famous" manipulates tunnel vision echoes, and seamlessly combines future-bas, electro-pop, and future-trap. Marinated in soul, and punctuated by illustrious intellect, "Famous" is both humbling, and grand- watch this space

MEMBA - BRAVE (FEAT. DAKK & GIIA)

MusicMike DooseComment

Bringing the HEAT once again, it's MEMBA, the NYC production duo showing us their worldly trap chops and wide-ranging talent. "Brave" is the kind of track that would win Best Rap/Sung Collaboration if the Grammy's actually featured forward-thinking dope music. Talented female vocalist and frequent MEMBA collaborator GIIA's gorgeous vocal melodies temper Dakk's hard and energetic verses. All of this takes place on a stage of the most glorious progressive beats and synths. Sound design: on point. Musicality: on point. Certified gold. Grab a free DL here. Mystery producer(s)?? Ellusive team up with French producers TRINIX, and the oh so familiar voice of George Maple to reboot the iconic "Talk". With George Maple's emotional lyrics weaving over a slow, ambling bassline, Ellusive & TRINIX breathe new life into an already amazing track. The whimsical cadence builds into a expectation defying drop thats got this track on repeat in my ears all day. Check out more of Ellusive's stuff here, TRINIX's here and George Maple here. YEN - WHIPPIN'

North Carolina producer Yen channels his inner Sango with his newest single "Whippin'". Released through Proper Vibes, "Whippin'" follows up on his excellent Missy Elliot remix alongside fellow Proper Vibes producer Evan Inc. Personally, i'm just happy to hear some good news coming out of North Carolina after the past few weeks. The day this guy starts jumping on some lineups, I'll be first in line and you can quote me on that. You can download this for free right here.

MOLLY MOORE - IMAGINARY FRIENDS (PLUTO REMIX)

Music, RemixEricComment

Damn I'm starting to feel old compared to all these up and coming producers lighting it up now a-days. I was sent this remix from 16 year old Pluto a bit before it came out, but due to life circumstances wasn't able to write it up until now. I was perusing the hype machine chart earlier yesterday and was happy to see this tune had already climbed all the way up to 2! I know Molly Moore is a hype machine darling and anything with her sumptuous voice is bound to get some attention, but lets focus on what this young producer has brought to this mix. The chorus drops into this minimalistic dirty sub drop with mysterious bells leading the charge in the top end. The guitars and horns intertwine with the drumming to subtly pave room for Molly's pipes. This remix doesn't go far out into left field, but instead keeps it close to home sharpening you're attention. You can download this tune for free right here

[PREMIERE] HYPERCOLOR - GHOSTS (FEAT. KORA LEVA)

PREMIEREMike DooseComment

New Music Tuesday! Oh wait, they do that thing on Fridays now...anyways I'm excited to bring you the premiere of the third original single from Hypercolor. The latest of Grant Wheeler and Matthew Young's various projectswhich include Body Language, Vacationer, and Xan Young to name a fewHypercolor draws inspiration from what's most exciting about modern production, citing influences such as Flume and Mura Masa. Those may sound like big names for comparison, but these guys live up to the hype.

"Ghosts" follows up on the success of the duo's first two originals, "Pretty" and "Animal", and is another stellar display of production chops and emotion. With the help of vocalist Kora Leva, "Ghosts" brings a more pop-infused tinge to the duo's progressive sound. It begins with strummed playful chords and light percussive sounds, slowly building through the first verse and chorus into more energetic luscious synths, chopped vocal samples, and snappy drums. I think it may be my favorite thus far from the guys, but with the consistency in quality we've seen from them already, there's little doubt they'll be slowing down anytime soon.

TIM GUNTER - FIRST BREATH

Music, Original MixEricComment

Happy Halloween everyone! Who's ready for some candy I know I am! I've got some ear candy for you right here from Tim Gunter. His latest original "First Breath" has already been attracting a lot of attention and rightfully so. The hybrid future trap tune is a flavorful musical cocktail of intersecting emotions. The beginning has a mysterious even haunting synth melody driven forward with an energetic rhythm section. Samples of deep breaths and bells lull you into a false sense of ease as the brass fueled chorus drops us into hysteria. The vox chops warp and weave on top of the bassy goodness before we're driven back into the dark. The second chorus gets a swung treatment as we're lifted off through the end. After a slew of amazing remixes and some ridiculous numbers, we're excited to see his magical originals start to appear. You can stream this on your preferred service here. PS Tim also just gave us a fun edit of the "Stranger Things" theme in time for Halloween check that out here.

HYDDE & MOONZz - ANYTHING YOU WANT (SEAN TURK REMIX)

RemixMike DooseComment

When this gem found it's way onto my radar, I immediately knew I would love it. MOONZz and Sean Turk are two of my favorite fastest rising artists of 2016, the former exploding with her single "Satisfy" being featured in THREE Victoria's Secret ad campaigns and the latter getting the approval of DJ Snake and Bipolar Sunshine on his debut remix/cover. The original here, which MOONZz made with newcomer HYDDE, was my favorite track off her Trust Cycles EP, so seeing it get the #BedroomBass remix treatment from Sean Turk was the cat's pajamas (he's done some FIRE remixes for other amazing tracks already such as Stephen's "Crossfire" and Brandyn Burnette's "Closer").

Turk respected the original's production work, maintaining the vibe, while kicking it up a notch with some dance-floor-friendly snappy hi hats and a new weaving synth lead during the chorusperfect compliments to MOONZz's entrancing vocal and memorable songwriting. If it wasn't radio ready before, it definitely is now. Can't wait to see what's in store for his originals!

HYPERCOLOR - ANIMAL (FEAT. JULIETTA)

Mike DooseComment

Brooklyn production duo Hypercolor dropped their first single a couple months back  a killer tune called "Pretty" that was kind of like what you might imagine it would sound like if Flume featured The Weeknd on a track. Now for their second single, they've enlisted fellow Vitalic Noise family member Julietta as the vocal lioness of this banger. "Animal" is a high-energy anthem of confidence with an array of inspiring sounds from xylophones and marimbas to synth stabs and a smattering of big cat roars throughout. Need a mood lift? This one will get you feeling, as Julietta cries, "unstoppable...like anything's possible." Get it!
