Honestly tho - this next premiere is pretty dope! Our loves over at Perfect Havoc just handed us another disco house heater, but I expect nothing less from our friends across the pond! Eat More Cake are a DJ/Production/ Songwriting collective from London creating some pretty awesome deep house jams that got me feeling some kind of way. "Heat Of The Night" is full of provocative deep disco vibes that will light up any dance floor. I've always wanted to be a part of a creative music collective, starting back with Prince and the NPG - I mean I really wanted to be part of the NPG ... always being seen together and belonging to something bigger than myself, creating music with other talented people and throwing parties. I realize that I'm destin to be on my own, and actually the world is my collective, and I've become a little part of it all through Beautiful Buzzz - getting to spread the word about awesome collectives like Eat More Cake. PEGBOARD NERDS & NGHTMRE - SUPERSTAR FT. KREWELLA (UNLIKE PLUTO REMIX)

Some mornings it's just easy to roll out of bed and have the perfect pick me up jam to enjoy with that first cup of coffee - and that totally just happened with this new Unlike Pluto remix of "Superstar ft. Krewella" by Pegboard Nerds & NGHTMRE. This Los Angeles producer never seems to let us down with his big sound and bouncy melodies, and he crushes this one with his boisterous dance flavor. WHETHAN VS OLIVER TREE - ALL YOU EVER TALK ABOUT

Our little baby angel Whethan has released another great single with Oliver Tree, full of fun summery vibes that are warming up my cold NoCal morning. "All You Ever Talk About" puts these two young musicians back together to produce a bouncy future pop track that everyone is sure to love! Whethan and Oliver Tree are becoming quite the duo, and I'm thinking this is not the last we'll see from the pair. I have predicted a huge 2017 for Whethan, and just last week he sold out his first headlining show at Lincoln Hall in Chicago! Wow! AUTOGRAF - CHANGES (TRIBUTE)

I'm with you Autograf - what an incredible time we've had the past 8 years with President Obama. We were a part of history that will forever be remembered, and this man fought for what we (liberals) believed in - it was nice to have someone like this on our side who was not afraid to be himself - 100% inspiring.  Taking all the right vibes from the 2Pac version of "That's Just The Way It Is" by Bruce Hornsby, Autograf creates this brilliant tribute to President Obama as we're winding down his last days in office - inspired by his farewell speech to the nation the other night! IMPALA - PILOT (FT. TIMA DEE)

LA's Impala just dropped his first original track "Pilot" featuring Tima Dee and boy oh boy is it good to see 2017 pop off to such an amazing start in terms of new acts. Taking to the time tested method of combining choppy, rolling synths with liquid female vocals, Impala continues a trend that has done much to bridge the gap between traditional music consumers and fans of a more harder, contemporary electronic style. DROELOE - IN TIME (FT. BELLE DORON)

Dutch duo DROELOE just partnered with Belle Doron to put together the absolutely fire track "In Time". Belle Doron's electropop vibe is chopped up just enough to add a hard edge without losing its vibrancy. DROELOE manages to drive through a triumphant, exhilarating refrain that takes me to an imaginary rave parade marching through city streets lined with jubilant fans rocking out. JOSH JACOBSON - POLAROIDS

New to the blog today is Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter, producer and instrumentalist Josh Jacobson (that’s right he does it all). ‘Polaroids’ is the soulful first single from his forthcoming debut EP First Light. Over the last few months, Josh has cemented his place as a pioneer of the genre of 'future soul' with a string of acclaimed releases that blend forward-thinking electronic production with soulful vocals and live instrumentation. His cover of Little Dragon’s ‘Twice’ showcased his versatility in both creating unique and interesting soundscapes and smoothly crooning overtop of them. 

On ‘Polaroids’ he weaves emotional R&B vocal lines in and out of pulsating synths, trap hi-hats and echoing toms. Lyrically, he takes the listener through a story of faded memories, moments lost in time and a continual search for meaning. EAU CLAIRE - ALL THE WONDER (N2N REMIX)

Well this is an awesome combination of names that has resulted into a juicy record that has got me in such an introspective mood. Eau Claire's been a frequent contributor to our pages, and N2N certainly hasn't been a stranger either. If you have heard N2N's awesome new original "Mistress (ft. Yaarrohs)" then you might start to understand the sound reflected in this remix. Eau Claire's original has more of an upbeat disco vibe to it while N2N's version has taken a deeper more intriguing approach that flips us into another dimension. Channeling the late night vibes, this remix features a lead melody that calmly swoops around as the bass grooves us into a sense of ease. We've heard there are more remixes due from Eau Claire's "All the Wonder" EP soon, but until then you can swoop this as a free download here.   

[PREMIERE] DZEKO - NEVER GONNA LOVE ME FT. SAM JAMES

Wow - so much amazing music dropped this week, and today seems to be extra awesome!  We have another "first" for ya today with our next premiere of "Never Gonna Love Me ft. Sam James" by DZEKO. This is his first vocal single since he announced his solo career and he says, "My new direction still dance music, but more song oriented than just instrumentals with a vocal sample before the drop. I want to focus on the songwriting just as much as the production" I have a soft spot in my heart for Canadians, I just love'em! This Toronto based producer is coming on strong with this new dance single with big beats and tasty pop melodies - it's dance floor fire! Sam James's soulful vocals are delicious, I'm swooning! Get into this one kids!
