If you are a regular to Beautiful Buzzz - you know we don't take ourselves too seriously ... we want you to listen too the music we post, so what we say about the music is irrelevant. I suppose this is one of the reasons people like this blog, and I definitely put a lot of my personality into my posts. I'm somewhat of a rule breaker, because how boring would life be if you never did anything 'bad" ... being bad can sometimes be fun, and today I am all about breaking some rules. For example, later today I am meeting the crew for brunch at this German restaurant that serves a boot of mimosa that holds two whole bottles of champagne, which is way over the doctor recommend 3 drinks at one sitting. Breaking rules! Or ... at Beautiful Buzzz we have a rule that we can't blog a song that has been out for over 7 days .... so I'm breaking rules with this Virtu remix, and no one can stop me! This Los Angeles producer completely crushed his remix of "When I'm Down" by Whethan VS Oilver Tree. HEY VIOLET - GUYS MY AGE (PRINCE FOX REMIX)

It's starting .... my bestie Prince Fox is releasing new music and I am psyched! I happen to know this legend has a backstock of siiick jams that he's dying to get into the world, and today he's handed me this new remix of "Guys My Age" by Hey Violet. Future Pop-a-licious fun vibes here kids. Prince Fox turns a room into a hot sweaty box of moving bodies -- people go ham like animals, they can't stop themselves!  I've seen it time and time again on my adventures with this yung producer, it's the best kind of carnage, from the greatest guy on the planet! Lot's more on the way from Prince Fox ... let's goooooo!

THE KNOCKS - LIE (FT. JERM)

I know I have said this one million times over the past 6 years .... but The Knocks are my favorite band ever! Our boys just got home from a massive european tour supporting Justin Bieber, and now that are about to embark on their next US headlining tour, and their Testify EP will be out FEB 03! Today they drop "Lie ft. Jerm" for an epic elecro pop dance track packed full of that funky Knocks vibe we love, with soaring soulful vocals from Jerm. They said, "When we wrote LIE in LA with Jerm it was just a vocal over that main guitar sample. No drums or additional production. His vocal is so powerful, it almost felt like it didn't need more.  When we took the song on the road and worked on it, we decided we wanted to make it a dancehall rhythm as Jerm is Jamaican and we didn't have anything like that yet.  It's also the first time we've done a song where the entire thing is a build and it doesn't really "drop" until the end which was really fun to do." It's bananas good! Get into this one kids! 

LOUIS THE CHILD - LOVE IS ALIVE (FT. ELOHIM)

The last year has been phenomenal for Chicago duo Louis The Child, blasting onto the scene with hits like "It's Strange" and "Weekend". Gearing up for their next North American tour, the pair have teamed up with singer-songwriter Elohim to co-write & co-produce "Love is Alive". A combination of gently calming bass-lines and guitar riffs alongside the mellifluous vocals of Elohim, the track prioritized emotional impact above a high energy one. Once upon a time in New York, this delicious dirty-blond bombshell sat next to me on a couch in a green room so he could get a little cuddle started between friends, and he told me that "Blair Takes Care" and I've never been the same! Cuddling aside - Blair is pretty awesome in so many other ways, and I am stoked for this new release "Planetary" featuring our homies Argonaut & Wasp. If you're in the mood for electro dance pop feel good vibes, look no further. Blair keeps it simple with a traditional pop format, but brings that dance floor heat that is oh so yumm.  This Los Angeles legend will be releasing a new track every month this year ... let the journey begin.

Happy Friday y'all!  As always ... my inbox is flooding with new music this morning. Friday release days can be brutal for one girl with a boutique electronic music blog! As much as I want to get all the music up, if I have a young Australian producer making fire beats to pick from - that's usually the way I go. Sorry, I just like Australian's more than most people, and I've always said there is some kind of magical musical fairy dust that gets sprinkled on people down there because everything that comes out of that country is fire! I'll get to my point - 18 year old producer from Sydney Joe Mason just slayed this new remix of 'Taped Up Heart ft. Clara Mae" by KREAM. With all the juicy big beat vibes and soulful vocals, this track is ready to crush that dance floor! He may be young, but Joe Mason is already winning - how Australian of him! Get into this one!  

[PREMIERE] PARAMORE - MISERY BUSINESS (THOREAU - BACK)

Thoreau's latest addition to his back series is an epic remix of Paramore's "Misery Business." If you were a pop punk head like I was circa 2006 then Paramore was a staple of the game. I and I'm sure countless others had suchh a crush on Haley ha ha. Thoreau's version maintains the same drive of the original, but inserts his signature future bass spikey bliss.
