KID FROOPY - SHOW ME

Des Moines based Kid Froopy just released an original track that hits with a one-two combo of emotional enveloping lyricism, and a hard, driving refrain. When a song can force you to invest yourself with such minimalist narrative, if any at all, its a sign of a keeper. TWO FRIENDS FT. COSMOS & CREATURE - OUT OF LOVE

Ah here it is! The Two Friends tune we've been patiently waiting for! I had the opportunity to hear this one a while back, and I think it's definitely one of the biggest releases yet for Matt and Eli. Brandyn and Molly's (Cosmos and Creature) group filled vocals add a definite grandiose nature to the tune that's heavily accented by the horns. The clean delayed guitars feather in a warming overtone to the tune that solidifies the pop crossover nature of the record. THROTTLE - HIT THE ROAD JACK

Well lookie lookie what we have here. Another Throttle release, another absolute jam! Throttle has been crushing it with his own breed of throwbacks and he's added this awesome re-work of "Hit The Road Jack" to his repertoire. Almost immediately this fun tune ran up the Beatport charts and is now firmly supplanted at #1 and it's easy to see why. Full of sexy horns and beefy sounds, this track picks you up and doesn't let go from start to finish. VICEROY - JUST MARINATE EP + US LIVE TOUR

Do you guys even know about a Viceroy party? Every time I head to see him play, weather it's my show or not, I spend the day prepping for what I am about to put my body through! The sultan of summer knows how to have a good time better than anyone I know - with his level ten fun vibes, crazy antics, and booty shaking tunes - I usually end up spending the next day recovering in bed! Viceroy just put out his new Just Marinate EP with two new tracks that are showing us his deep house side, and both "Marinate ft. Wilki" and "Illuminate ft. Anjulie" are delicious dance floor jams with major flames. Next weekend Viceroy kicks off his LIVE winter US tour, and I highly recommend getting out to a show! [PREMIERE] MOSSY. - WARPAINT.

Happy Monday! I have something pretty awesome for this next premiere that I have been dying to tall y'all about! Mossy. is a young producer out of Los Angeles who is so shiny and new that this is his first track ever! "Warpaint." sets a very cool tone with big low end beats and a funky groove - this is the kind of song the cool awkward indie kid in high school who wore Blur T-shirts (oh that was me) would be listening to. Mossy. takes a creative twist on combining some pretty epic vibes - it's like he crossed The Stone Roses pop rock sound with super sexy dance floor feels ... and he was able to say everything he needed to in under 3 minutes! DAN FARBER - TAKE ME HIGH

Not gonna lie kids - I'm so behind with all things I'm having trouble knowing what day it is! I call this the SXSW Effect! Every year around this time, a month out from our huge party we throw at SXSW, I am so overloaded with work it's stupid. Basically it's like a I have 3 full time jobs, Beautiful Buzzz + Crossroads + SXSW. I'm not getting a whole lot of sleep ..... So, this is why I am WAY late with this new track "Take Me High" from fresh Tel Aviv producer Dan Farber. He's given us a super sexy future bass pop track that has some serious feel good groove. I feel like this one needs to be heard whether I'm late to the party or not - it's delicious! 

FRND - SUBSTITUTE

My next one today comes from former sousaphone enthusiast and native of one of the first American colonies. That might just be all we know about this yet to be revealed artist FRND other than the fact that he's given us some killer tunes so far in "Sticks and Stones" and the debut "Friend" and doesn't seem to be slowing given his latest "Substitute." Just in time for Valentine's day this airy love song pleads that he can be "The substitute for the hole in your heart". The tune bumps and weaves along with vocals warps and a chippy snare. A guitar chop melody furnishes out the finale as we're left feeling alrighttt.  

ILLENIUM - FRACTURES (FT. NEVVE)

So, I'm having one of those weeks - the kind when you just want to go home and get into bed - putting all your frustrations and mistakes behind the negative vibe ... because tomorrow is another day! Good thing my friend Illenium slid into my DMs with his new track "Fractures ft. Nevve" - it's been a bright spot within this gloomy rainy week. As usual Illenium brings all the sweetness with his signature melodic trap sound - his future feels are on point, and this lively new track is giving me the warm and fuzzies. Delicious! FILOUS - GOODBYE (FT. MAT KEARNEY)

Wow filous (pronounced fih-loo ha ha i def got it wrong for a while) just can do no wrong. This young Austrian (only 19!) has wisdom and skills well beyond his years, and its no wonder the industry has taken such notice. His brand of folky electronic relies on real instruments, and does so in such an smooth way. His latest "Goodbye" is winter-inspired cross-breed of ambient electronic and pop. Mat Kearney's voice gives the tune a singer-songwriter like quality to it that mixes perfectly with filous' often guitar filled instrumental.
