MOTEZ - THE FUTURE FEAT. ANTONY & CLEOPATRA

I am on a serious 48-hour Motez binge, and I have a dark feeling it's transcending into a (completely warranted) bender rather than a binge. My fascination with the Australian producer began my freshman year of college after discovering his spooky flip of Flight Facilities' "Clair De Lune." Motez has a musical style that is, actually, unparalleled- it's approachable, yet often mysterious and whispers sin in sound waves. His latest single, "The Future" featuring Antony & Cleopatra, is a choir-based, integrated jam piece, full of healing properties- dreamy, captivating, hypnotizing. Motez's production is so distinct, it's hard to pinpoint where he draws his influence from, but that's what I love about him, his work is contentiously refreshing, novel, and original. ODESZA - HIGHER GROUND FT. NAOMI WILD

There is absolutely no excuse to not love Odesza. As huge as they are now, they definitely don't need our help with exposure from this little old blog, but they are our roots and we've loved them since day one! Their latest single "Higher Ground ft. Naomi Wild" is nothing short from electro pop perfection; with that full and flavorful Odesza sound that's like nothing else. I love it! LOST FREQUENCIES & NETSKY - HERE WITH YOU

We would have posted this sooner, but there were soundcloud global rights issues so here we are! This is a special record right here and I guess everyone is quickly taking notice because this record already has 2.2 million streams on Spotify. But hey I guess that's what you get when you put two sexy producers together like Netsky and Lost Frequencies. I saw Lost Frequencies close down the main stage at EDC on day 3 - usually the most tired and zombie like audience of the weekend, but instead everyone was jumping for joy like it was the opening set on Friday. Just a testament to how epic LF throws down. Now to the single - this record starts one way, and ends somewhere completely different. You hit play and the gorgeous flamenco-esque nylon guitar lulls you into a state of auditory bliss right as (cue the Netsky) the beat kicks in and warms you up. As the spikey chorus hits with a winding melody we're quickly brought back down into a rhythmic synth verse alongside more gush-worthy guitar. When TastyTreat sent me this track for our next premiere, they said I better be careful because it's kinda too sexy. Yes, I'll have to agree that it's definitely too sexy for my shirt, so sexy it hurts. Haha! One thing I have always loved about TastyTreat is their wide range of style - they can drop the dirtiest of trap beats, to dance floor ready future bass, to this sexy R&B pop vibe that we have today with "Selfish ft. Marco Foster." They're not trying to wait for our lovin' y'all - they got what we need now ... and they're selfish. Swoon! Incredibly innovative, the single feels almost foreign, or, other worldly. Chrome lyrics layered over complex, highly inspired production is what defines its cosmic energy. Although the Daft Punk-esque vocals are easy to lose yourself in, the message sewn within, although abstract, is clear, "I'm seeing red. I'm seeing blue. I'm seeing every single color in the room. It's been a few months since we've heard from one of our favorite Australian producers L D R U - and I gotta say I am psyched over this new one OMG! L D R U stole my heart a few years back at SXSW with his sweet jams and super homie vibes - we became fast friends and I just love all the things about him ... especially his jams! "Me ft. Boi" is a fantastic dance track that brings together big trap bass and funky future beats with super soulful vocals, 100% ready for the dance floor! I'd grab your headphones for this one kids! You can also catch him at a few select US dates/festivals this summer!
