Today he drops a fantastic cover of "Flume" by Bon Iver and I feel like my poor writing skills will not do him justice for just how excellent this is. If I was a fancy writer I would deconstruct each element using colorful descriptive words to try to paint a picture of what this sounds like. But ... [PREMIERE] DREAMERS DELIGHT - SWIRLS FT. CLOUDCHORD

I am credited with, give or take, 95 digital bylines in the discipline of music. Admittedly, I have glorified music that I don't particularly love. And rarely am I completely awe-struck by a track, especially in the world of electronic music. The artistic tendencies seem to be repetitive, and well, a bit grey. But when LA-based, Dreamers Delight and Austin-based Cloudchord come together...touching, technicolor notes and melodies rise from the ashes to remind me why electronic music is a legendary artistic locus in the entire timeline of art and music. Their co-written track, "Swirls" is a flighty one, warming your senses, dipping you in gold, and most importantly, evoking emotion. It's a live electronic gospel, with structured layers and meditative guitar riffs. Ironically (but probably intentionally), it sounds like the intangible sounds of "swirls-" it almost tickles when you listen. "Swirls" is a trip, and you peak with a sense of euphoria and come down satisfied, taught, and more aware. Dreamers Delight and Cloudchord have created something very special with "Swirls." [PREMIERE] BAYNK - COME HOME [W/ SHALLOU] (HAZEY EYES REMIX)

If you’re a casual listener of Spotify’s curated chill/electronic playlists, there’s a good chance you’ve heard BAYNK. The New Zealand-based producer is known for his sensual textures and layered electronic arrangements on tracks such as “What You Need” and “Poolside.” He’s also released notable remixes for artists such as gnash (“I hate u, I love u”) as well as A R I Z O N A (“I Was Wrong”). 

While I can’t say for sure, there’s a good chance that Philadelphia-based artist Hazey Eyes has been on some of the same playlists as BAYNK. They both create supremely chill, atmospheric indie electronic music and share support from some of the same industry tastemakers, namely YouTube promotional channel turned full-on record label Majestic Casual. Today marks the release of BAYNK’s official remix package for his latest single “Come Home”, a collab with Chicago-based producer/vocalist Shallou. Hazey’s take is easily the most relaxing and moody redo of the four in the pack. It’s a delicate and tranquil piece of music that might make you teary, or in my case is keeping me sane and relaxed on this Friday morning despite the mountain of work I know I have ahead of me today. [PREMIERE] AXEL MANSOOR - WASTED MY LOVE (SLEEPING LION + DULSAE REMIXES)

If you missed the sudden arrival of Axel Mansoor a few short months ago, then you best get hip to the program. His debut singles "Wasted My Love" and "Out of My Head" have collectively hit 1 million streams and notched some impressive milestones like Spotify US Viral Top 5 and Hype Machine #1. Well today we're celebrating the premiere of two delectable remixes from Sleeping Lion and Dulsae of "Wasted My Love". The first from Boston's Sleeping Lion being a downtempo experimental jam rife with layered modulated vocals, deep pulsating synths and playfully sexy melodic lines. The second from Dulsae is my personal favorite of the two - an upbeat exploration on the original that takes flight in the chorus with pulsing swarms of synth work that complements the guitar all too perfectly. Both valiant re-imaginings on the original it was tough to pick just one so I give you both!

JOSHUA MORIARTY - R.T.F.L.

Josh Moriarty who we at BB know well from his work with Miami Horror has launched into solo land with this first single "R.T.F.L." a sexy jam from a forthcoming 8 track album titled War Is Over. This tune has a lot to unfold with layers of group vocals filling in the backseat of a slow rolling musical Cadillac trudging forward into a hazy skyline of grooving percussion and somber pads. The beat really keeps things moving with pace as the Josh's vocal tone captures your interest. I love Josh's quote regarding the tune, "It is music to make you feel (at least for a moment) that you are not alone, to capture in aural form the ephemeral grace of existence. Yet, on the other hand the music is mere art for art’s sake, completely useless, beautiful for the sake only of beauty. A dichotomy of point and pointlessness. War Is Over is designed as a modern day opus of existential desire, longing, sensuality, and what it means to human." With the amount of feels packed into a short 3:57 I can assure you the point of this tune is simple desire. 

[PREMIERE] ELEMENT - HOME TO ME FT. EILEEN TIFFANY

It's hard to believe it's already been a year since we did our first premiere with this young up-and-coming producer Element. Since then he's released a hand full of new tracks and an EP, and today for our next premiere he hands us "Home To Me ft. Eileen Tiffany" for our listening pleasure. This New York producer certainly knows how to bring the vibes with his bouncy rhythms, future beats and angelic vocals .... perfect for any summer adventure! You can grab a free download HERE!

[PREMIERE] JANELLE KROLL - BARRICADE (TYZO BLOOM REMIX)

Janelle Kroll has been crushing it lately. "Barricade" was a really cool tune with such an infectious wave of a melody on the lyric "Barricade" that just makes you smile. So I was pretty excited when I got sent another Tyzo Bloom remix of Janelle ripe for our ears. This remix starts rather ethereal with child like bells and piano whisking us away as we're launched into the familiar tropical marimba tones on top of bobbing sub. Tyzo makes ample use of vocal warps throughout the remix that sound not too distant from whistles. The original was light, even jovial and Tyzo has simply enhanced those feelings while making us feel warm inside.

[PREMIERE] YE. x MOTHICA - SELF DESTRUCTIVE

This year both ye. and Mothica became official Beautiful Buzzz family by playing our SXSW show in Austin! What an amazing time! So today's premiere is extra rad - big ups fam! Fresh off his festival debut at Camp Bisco, ye. has delivered a fresh new track that is kinda making us swoon. Teaming up with the ever so luminous Mothica, he's taking her trak "Self Destructive" and flipped it into future bass perfection leaving all the pop flavor for us to soak up ... delicious!
