TCTS - JELLY

I am super OK with anyone who tells us to put some jelly on it and feel the vibe, and when it comes from TCTS it's pretty much the best thing I have ever heard! TCTS is a young producer and DJ from Manchester that we have had our eye on for a minute -- longing for the day when he makes his way to the states for shows so I can get my groove on! But, alas he keeps us waiting for now! His latest release "Jelly" is a funky deep house gem that I wanna hear pumping through a big room at extreme volumes! You guys really need to get into this one -- the SC description simply says ..... make something!  Nuff said!! 

NGHTMRE - STREET (CRWNS REMIX)

I'm at it late again today - so many things going on with so little time, a girl simply can't do it all! However, when a homie puts out the goodness, it must be addressed! Chicago producer and Run The Trap fam CRWNS put his spin on "Street" by NGHTMRE and it's siiiick! The track is pretty redic on its own, but CRWNS put some extra layers of bass and all kinds of future feels all over this one for us to kinda lose our minds over! Hella good! [PREMIERE] PAT LOK - LOVE YOURSELF (JB REMAKE)

We're showing some serious Canadian love today with this amazing new rework from our boy Pat Lok! Fitting timing too because he's completely revitalized and re-done Justin Beiber's "Love Yourself" on this the Bieb's birthday! But we won't throw too much love JB's way for this one, because Pat didn't use any of JB's vocals instead using the pipes of After Romeo. Sounds pretty similar to me that's why I definitely wanted to point that out. Lets get to the track. The beginning makes me chuckle with a harpsichord intro that sets the fun tone of this cover. We're treated with 90's style drumming reminiscent of name your favorite boy band, and yet Pat keeps it modern with vocal chops, and deep bass. It's the first of March - which means for us on the west coast, summer is just days away!  So, it's time to bring back our Top 5 Summer Jams for 2016  - where we feature an artist's voice on tracks they are listening to, making, or just loving - either way it's all things amazing! Our girl MOONZz is kicking things off which I could not be more happy about - she's been killing it lately and we love to show her love whenever we can! She has selected a very dreamy group of jams that would be chill on any summer's eve ... solid! Thanks MOONZz for setting the mood!

I've been lucky enough to meet the talented trio & it's been the best feeling to hear how far they've come. Tyrone's voice is so raw and I've always loved that about their music.

Taylor's production is immaculate - he's easily one of my favorite producers, specifically on Brainfeeder. Beautiful pockets filled with percussive velvet. His collaboration with Nai Palm (of Haitus Kaiyote) is also one of my favorites.

PARTY THIEVES & LAZY BOYZ - NO GRAVITY

A few weeks ago I was talking with Party Thieves's manager and he called me a newbie! I was having a convo with him via facebook while driving and using my hands free device - when I talk it types! We were talking about shows in SF and I asked about Party Thieves and my phone typed "they" instead of "he" and I was called a newbie! Granted this manager guys is a homie who I heart very much so he is definitely allowed to bust my balls ..... but you never know if a convo will end up on BB one late night when I can't sleep and feel like night blogging! I digress, this New York producer is bananas good, and I may be a newbie to his scene but at least I've arrived! Today he released a new original "No Gravity" with fellow creators Lazy Boyz that has everything feeling just right with it's glitchy beats and bass vibes - I'm super into this one! It's late Monday night, I've been working for 13 hours straight now, and I think it is definitely time for some night blogging! Tonight's theme will be all things low - because I have a handful of tracks that will shake the walls with the shear force of bass! Atlanta producer Gravez is not fucking around with this one - and he just put up this new track "Ecco ft. Today has been the best Monday I have had in a minute thanks to happy agents, fun Facebook conversations, officially starting a new job, and some pretty great music dropping -- to much actually I am having to keep up with the goodness! This one tho, I can't let it go bye because it's a delicious morsel of low-end  radness that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy!  Fresh young producer QUIX puts his spin on "Gangsta Walk" from the homie SNBRN - and it's pretty much my favorite thing!
