BEAUTIFUL BUZZZ

DJ SNAKE - LET ME LOVE YOU FT. JUSTIN BIEBER (SLANDER & B-SIDES REMIX)

Music, RemixErin MaherComment

It's Sunday and I kind of feel like I need to get back in bed. This weekend's festivities have wrecked me .... from hosting a show with some ultimate homies and watching the sun come up .... to drinking a german boot stein of mimosa (big enough to hold 2 bottles of champagne) at brunch .... you could say I'm done. But this new Slander & B-Sides remix of "Let Me Love You ft. Justin Bieber" by DJ Snake cannot be passed up! I am a forever Beliber so his vocals on anything is a-ok with me, and Slander ... I mean come on, it's impossible for them to not put out a great track. Hope this helps with everyone's Sunday recovery!

EGZOD FT. CAITI PATTON - KEEP YOURSELF AWAY

Music, Original MixHarrison MorganComment

If it's one thing I've learned about myself over the years, it's that I'm a sucker for melodic dubstep. No matter how much time flies and how many new genres come into the picture, there's just something about it that makes me want to vibe out. EGZOD, a brand new up and comer from France, released his newest song "Keep Yourself Away" featuring Caiti Patton, and it reminds a lot of something MitiS or Adventure Club would do, with a fresh twist. While it's the first time I've heard of both artists, I can almost guarantee we'll see some more promising material moving forward.

MATOMA - RUNNING OUT W/ ASTRID S (PROPPA REMIX)

Music, RemixMike DooseComment

Being from Chicago, I always love to rep Chicago born-and-raised artists. Proppa is a name I had seen on the HypeM charts before so when this track was sent to me, I had to check it out. I also love the original. Such a tune. In this remix, Proppa treats the chill tropical house hit a solid dose of future. The vocal chops and massive synth hits really get me moving. It’s also such a dynamic edit, with a good variety of energy throughout. Nice one Proppa, keep it up.

CHRIS AVANTGARDE - ALL OF THE LIGHTS

Music, Original MixEricComment

So Insomniac, who I'm sure everyone who's reading this knows who they are, has put together a lil record label through Universal Music's Interscope imprint. Chris Avantgarde has blessed their catalogue with a cold as ice almost drum and bass record in "All Of the Lights." Cinematic, evolving, brooding, futuristic, expansive might be a few adjectives to describe the tune, but quite simply I'm going to go with EPIC. There's a lot of ear candy to enjoy in this tune from the arp melodies and string pads to the haunting vocals. It all comes together to burst into your ears with swirls of decadence. Take a second and dive into a record that I know you're going to enjoy. You can purchase and stream "All Of the Lights" on digital retailers here

ATTOM - AFTERGLOW

Music, Original MixEricComment

Following up on his debut release on MFN/Ultra Records with the upbeat "Better," Iowa City's electronic muse, Attom has given us the heavenly "Afterglow." Electing to smooth things out, "Afterglow" is a tremendously serene record that showcases the beautiful vocals of Ciele. Featuring a barrage of eclectic percussion, guitar and synth bobs, Attom wisps the record forward with easy bliss. This is just the kind of record to soar us out of summer and float us into fall. You can purchase "Afterglow" on all retailers here

PREMIERE, Video, Remix, MusicErin MaherComment

It's pretty rare that we post videos on BB - but this one is really cool, and honestly I can't get enough of this track. French producer Kulkid has delivered a super fun remix of "4AM" by Huntar that's drenched in dance pop vibes. Kulkid is so dreamy - we love all the things he puts into the world. He combines tropical house with soulful pop textures to create that delicious sound. Check out the new video below, and you can also grab a limited free download HERE!

[PREMIERE] BIG MAKK & SAGE ARMSTRONG - TOBASCO SAWCE

PREMIERE, Original Mix, MusicErin MaherComment

We lost a great friend this month, and the EDM world has been mourning. One of our brightest new stars Big Makk will be deeply missed. I never personally met this legend, but from what I have been told and the impact his sudden death has had on our community, he was one amazing human. Our next premiere is in celebration of this young producer's life. "Tobasco Sawce" by Big Makk & Sage Armstrong is featured on the 3rd volume of the Plates compilation series via Main Course - keeping the tradition of pure and simple house tracks made for the club. This track will be available as a fee download - however I encourage you to click this BUY button because ALL proceeds from this track will be donated in full to his family. RIP Big Makk ....

WIN AND WOO - RECOGNIZE (FT. ASHE)

Music, Original MixErin MaherComment

Like I would ever forget about my boys Win and Woo! Last week they dropped their first original track "Recognize ft. Ashe" and I swooned! We've been big supporters of this Chicago duo for a minute, so to share this milestone of the first original with them is super sweet! Granted, I am a few days late getting it on BB - but they know I always got their backs! Win and Woo deliver a perfect electro house dance pop track packed with soulful vocals from Ashe and feel good vibes! This is the good shit! Congrats guys - killed it!

ZHU - FADED (ORIGAMY REMIX)

Music, RemixHarrison MorganComment

Earlier this week it was reported that Porter Robinson had released a remix of ZHU’s ‘Faded’. Shortly after, however, Robinson denied that he had anything to do with it. A little further digging ended in finding the remix on the page of new artist ORIGAMY. With little social media following and only 2 posts on soundcloud there is now a lot of speculation as to who ORIGAMY really is. This remix is incredible, with masterfully distorted vocals, smooth synth vibes and a powerful beat it’s easy to see why people think there must be a high profile producer behind it. The vibe of this remix is awesome, it’s chill but driven at the same time, one might even say it sounds faded. Quite frankly I don’t care who ORIGAMY is as long as they continue to release tracks like this.
