LIDO - DYE (MOSSY. REMIX)

One of the great debates in the music blogging world (at least in my world) this past Friday was which Lido remix do we pick to feature? I mean, there are so many and they are all so good ... just one of the many struggles a girl with a blog goes through. Mossy. won me over after listening, his smooth clean sound left me feeling some kind of way. Last month we premiered this Los Angeles producer's first release, so makes since we back it up with now featuring his delicious remix of "Dye" and I'm telling you - it's brilliant. Lucky for us, we get to watch this young producer come alive, I'll definitely be with him every step of the way.     

LANY - ILYSB (ANDREW LUCE REMIX)

If you have been wondering where the Beautiful Buzzz team has been over the past few days, you can blame 4 little letters - SXSW - and the insane amount of planning that goes into your annual 4 day and 4 night party in Austin. I'm going to try to do a little catch up today while I have a bit of free time, and one track that is giving me all the chill vibes on this rainy Sunday is this new Andrew Luce remix of "Ilybs" by Lany. JOSH JACOBSON - POLAROIDS

New to the blog today is Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter, producer and instrumentalist Josh Jacobson (that’s right he does it all). ‘Polaroids’ is the soulful first single from his forthcoming debut EP First Light. Over the last few months, Josh has cemented his place as a pioneer of the genre of 'future soul' with a string of acclaimed releases that blend forward-thinking electronic production with soulful vocals and live instrumentation. His cover of Little Dragon’s ‘Twice’ showcased his versatility in both creating unique and interesting soundscapes and smoothly crooning overtop of them. 

On ‘Polaroids’ he weaves emotional R&B vocal lines in and out of pulsating synths, trap hi-hats and echoing toms. Lyrically, he takes the listener through a story of faded memories, moments lost in time and a continual search for meaning. ELI WAY & IAN EWING - HAPPY WITH U (FEAT. NAJI)

It's been a hell of a week. One full of hope, and excitement...despair and frustration. I was encouraged by some of the responses to our new president elect and discouraged by others. Respect is the most important thing to me and while many have been surprised and confused about the results we have to continue forward and overcome adversity. Life is full of setbacks, but it's about how you respond to those setbacks that will prove the real test of your mettle. Having said that, the real reason I'm divulging into such a rant is that I want everyone to just RELAX. You'll never solve anything upset so I'm providing you with this musical dose of chill to bring us back to square one. Eli Way just recently came onto my radar and oooohhh I'm soo glad he did. This amazing future soul producer has put out some absolutely amazing records like "If It Makes You Happy feat. Cehryl" and "Just Wanna Love You". I promise you this guy is ready to explode and I'm super excited to provide the introduction! Dive into his newest "Happy With U" co-written with Milwaukee based soul producer brethren Ian Ewing featuring rapper Naji. Start keeping tabs because this is just the beginning. 

DIRTY CHOCOLATE - WORST MOOD FT. ABBI PRESS

DC producer Dirty Chocolate just teamed up with vocalist Abbi Press to deliver a slowed down, sexed up cover of The Weekend's "Starboy" and it is inspiring to say the least. "Worst Mood" sets an melodic tone early and slowly but surely builds into a final emotional drop that seals the deal. Dirty Chocolate has been crushing it for years now, steadily building a repertoire of killer tracks with heavy hitters like Moving Castle & Nest HQ. NYC based Abbi Press continues to wow with her mesmerizing vocals, pulling the whole track together in ways reminiscent of her previous collaborations within the soundcloud producer community.

HARLOE- ALL IN MY FEELINGS

Brand spanking new music alert riiiight here y'all - Harloe nailed this! Newcomer to the scene, this multi talented singer/songwriter has been crushing things behind closed doors, writing for the likes of Britney Spears and Charli XCX. Now she has found her own voice and released her debut track "All In My Feelings" and it crushes! Harloe tapped into my inner spirit by self-producing this track that's perfect for all the turnt up sad-girls out there in the world. The electro R&B vibes here are real yo, and her vocals are like a dream soaked in soulful layers of satiny feels ... I'm so into this!  And let's all give a high five for the coolest ending of a song I've heard in a minute! Gotta get into this one kids!   

FATHERDUDE - WHY I CAN'T RELATE FT. JOELL ORTIZ

I've been trying to get this track up for days but the distractions have been real! Sometimes, all good things come to those who wait - and this track is so delicious I knew I could no longer keep it from all y'all! My homie FATHERDUDE is back with his next single "Why I Can't Relate ft. Joell Ortiz" and it's been on repeat allllll weekend! This rising star is making so many moves it's almost hard to keep up with all the collabs and features and sweet original jams .... he's spreading his soulful funky vibes all over the place, and we like it! Whenever Jerry Folk drops a new one - I get all feely inside because he kinda rules my heart with all his sweet sweet jams! His future soul vibes are so smooth and sexy, it's hard to believe he's only a 20 year old yung buck from Norway. This new jam "Stanley ft. ILLENIUM - SLEEPWALKER (VIRTU REMIX)

When you open a PR email and they tell you someone told them I was a huge Illenium fan - at least I know people are are telling truths about me! I can't hide it - I am a big nerdy Illenium fan!  I have been known to send messages to him in the dark hours while being slightly intoxicated ... but we were in the same city and I was looking for him! That was our show in SF last month that we SOLD OUT .... but then I also had a sunset boat party that day so I missed Illenium. He sold out almost all this shows on his last tour ... pretty impressive! Now young Virtu, a delicious producer from Los Angeles, has put his spin on "Sleepwalker" by Illenium .... and it's totally futurific. SO many feels here kids .... I'm swooning again!
