LAYNE - TOPICAL (SHUHANDZ REMIX)

This new remix from Shuhandz is absolute fire. Layne has been taking the LA indie rock scene by storm and was also doing work around the US recently opening for K.Flay on tour. I've heard rumors that she has a bunch of new music on the way as well, but lets get back to this remix. "Topical" is one of my favorite tracks of hers and Shuhandz has turned this emotional tune into an energetic deep house anthem. ASHDOWN - LOOKING BACK

Ashdown has given us another special record in "Looking Back." The record is a buttery fusion of soul and attitude. His narrative song-writing style will attract audiences as it pairs with a deep and mellowed bass. The track is subtle and not overbearing while remaining emotionally impactful. According to the artist, "I think this track maybe has a bit more attitude to it then my other music. This song in general terms is about how not knowing something or forgetting about something can be a good thing. ZEDD - STAY (PETIT BISCUIT REMIX)

Born Mehdi Benjelloun, France's live electronic producer and DJ, better known as Petit Biscuit, continues to disrupt the norms of the EDM world. At only 19 years old, Petit Biscuit is performing at globally recognized music festivals, and collaborating with Grammy Award winning musicians. After the monumental success of his 2016 debut album, "Petit Biscuit," his beautiful buzz landed in the hands of Russian born producer, Zedd. Three months ago, Zedd released his single "Stay." I'm posting somewhat of a flashback this morning ... I was letting Soundcloud play suggested tracks and this one popped up and I was like .... oh yummy! Of course it's K?D!  We love everything he puts into the world, and a few weeks ago he dropped "Lose Myself ft. Phil Good" and I just could not resist posting. I love it when Louis Futon gets dirty. As one of my favorite producers over the past few years, I have seen this Philly producer get nasty with this low end, and it's pretty much the best thing ever! He's been putting out a bunch of really great flips lately, and last week he dropped this super sexy remix of "U Rite" by THEY. PLUTO - FIGHT FOR YOU FT. MAX

We're getting used to talking about teenage producers - lately it seems a whole new batch of yung thugs making fresh beats has emerged as the next generation of music makers. After celebrating his birthday just a few days ago (I believe turning 17), Pluto drops this monster track "Fight For You ft. Max" and I am floored!  There is so much depth and soul here, it's hard to believe this is the work of a teen.
