LIONE has risen from relative obscurity to prominence so quickly that Martin Garrix's new label STMPD RCRDS has taken notice and chosen him to be their first solo act signee. It's easy to see why with amazing tunes like his "Where Are U Now" and "Bodyache" remixes that have drawn all sorts of comparisons to Porter Robinson (not too shabby). It's been a minute since a new release, but I'm super excited to share his latest and first original "Leave This Place". What's not to like about this tune? Luscious synths, bright and endearing melodies, infectious arps and beautiful vocals, the record has an endearing quality to it that invokes a smile at every snare. With a live show, a guest mix on Garrix's Beats 1 radio show and his first original now under his belt, it's clear we have a some major movement here. Beautiful Buzzz has been a supporter from the beginning, and it's awesome to see things moving in the right direction so quickly. You can get this as a free download from STMPD RCRDS here.

[PREMIERE] EAU CLAIRE - ALL THE WONDER (LOFRAMES REMIX)
PREMIERE, Music, RemixCommentWe love supporting our disco queen Eau Claire - she's been keeping up with the boys for a minute and shows no signs of stopping! Today we get to premiere this awesome remix of "All The Wonder" from production duo Loframes for some super delicious deep house vibes. Loframes have had quite a year, crushing remixes for the likes of M83, Miami Horror, Kraak & Smaak - and we even saw one for our fave British underground synthpop outfit NZCA LINES (which is actually more impressive to me than the popular artists mentioned above), and now we see a new spin on Eau Claire's latest .... I'm loving this! Loframes gave us a luscious sexy and slightly mysterious version that will get things dirty on the dance floor! Yes please! Get into this one kids!
TIM GUNTER - FIRST BREATH
Music, Original MixCommentHappy Halloween everyone! Who's ready for some candy I know I am! I've got some ear candy for you right here from Tim Gunter. His latest original "First Breath" has already been attracting a lot of attention and rightfully so. The hybrid future trap tune is a flavorful musical cocktail of intersecting emotions. The beginning has a mysterious even haunting synth melody driven forward with an energetic rhythm section. Samples of deep breaths and bells lull you into a false sense of ease as the brass fueled chorus drops us into hysteria. The vox chops warp and weave on top of the bassy goodness before we're driven back into the dark. The second chorus gets a swung treatment as we're lifted off through the end. After a slew of amazing remixes and some ridiculous numbers, we're excited to see his magical originals start to appear. You can stream this on your preferred service here. PS Tim also just gave us a fun edit of the "Stranger Things" theme in time for Halloween check that out here.
[PREMIERE] HTPKT - RUNNING FT. CELESTIAL
Music, Original MixCommentThis is not the first time we've featured yung New York producer HtPkt on BB - and from what I can tell it won't be the last either. Today's premiere is the kind that we love most, because every new music maker needs support to be heard, and we want to you listen! "Running ft. Celestial" is a bright and bouncy future bass gem that's served up on a huge plate of vibes with sweet vocals by Celestial. HtPkt crushed this one! Grab a free download HERE!
PLUTO x YE. - FEEL THE FIRE
Music, Original MixCommentUp and coming new producers Pluto & ye. just dropped a hot original track through PRMD Music called "Feel the Fire" and its bonkers. In the past few months these two have torn up soundcloud with collaborations like "Breath" and individual works like Pluto's "Wet" and ye.'s flip of Halsey's "New Americana". "Feel the Fire" is one in what one can only hope is a continuous stream of dance floor ready room shakers from these two talented artists. Wouldn't be surprised to hear this in a main room set sometime in the near future.
FLØRALS - WAVES
Music, Original MixCommentHang ten and ride the next biggest wave to come crashing into the EDM world. FLØRALS comes in with a hit that will leave you speechless, breathless, powerless, utterly every word imaginable to describe a state of being where time and movement cease to exist. “Waves” will definitely be your new favorite song. The synthetic waves that FLØRALS uses is able to coexist with a bass drum that flows beautifully with each strike of percussion. The softest percussion can also be heard through the bridge of the song, each kick sounding like the tap of a xylophone of our infant years to keep the vibe pleasantly fun. Can we please talk about that catchy drop! Pick up the phone because the summer vacation in our daydream is calling and FLØRALS is on the other line giving us our getaway. We get a sense that FLØRALS just cannot accept the fact that summer is gone because “Waves” is so lively and energized that we do not want to succumb to the gloom of the cloudy weather. Proclaim with us that summer is here to stay by listening to “Waves.”
JUSTICE SKOLNIK - YOU COULD BE DOWN
Music, Original MixCommentSan Fran's Justice Skolnik just sent over his newest concoction "You Could Be Down" featuring some excellent smatterings of Brandy's pitched up vocals. This future tune starts with a dreamlike intro with rain sound effects, pads and a fun fantasy like bell lead that takes us into a cascading arpeggio build. The chorus hits with bright pulsating saw synths and a soaring high lead as the main melody chimes back in. This tune has a raw innocence to it, with Brandy's pitched up vocals bending and chopping around the jovial melodies. You can nab this fun tune as a free download here and go ahead and give it a <3 on Hype Machine here.
FREDDY SPACER - WHERE'S UR MIND
Music, Original MixCommentLet us introduce you to a far out new indie rock act Freddy Spacer. This is a new project for Freddy who formally made waves in the industry with his old band Y Luv. I definitely loved everything Y Luv put out, so I wanted to show some love to his latest "Where's Ur Mind." Produced by another BB friend Blair, the tune is a driving indie rock cut that is fueled by cosmic breakdowns and falsettos leading to a soaring "La La LA" reverby bridge. His live show is a visual spectacle with dancers, visuals and lights accompanying the band. You definitely want to check that out so catch his next show 11/15 at the Resident in downtown LA more details here.
VANESSA ELISHA - FRIENDLY SKIES
Cover, MusicCommentR&B may not be my favorite type of music, but there's something to be said for the way it can really set a mood, tug at emotions, and get you feeling some kinda way. Vanessa Elisha is not only the homie (we got late night Mexican food once) but she is also one of the hottest artists coming out of Australia right now that isn't a future bass producer or indie pop/dance group. Her brand of Alt/Future R&B can be seen in the form of massive collaborations with a slew of incredible producers from XXYYXX to Ekali. This cover of the legendary Missy Elliott and Ginuwine's "Friendly Skies" is as close to perfection as you can get for a 2016 tribute to this 1997 classic from Missy's debut album Supa Dupa Fly. The complete rework of the production is so fresh, and her signature vocal delivery doesn't just tug at the heartstrings, it melts them. This comes ahead of her long-awaited debut EP, "It's a Day and Night Thing" due in November, which will boast production from Sweater Beats, Different Sleep, XXYXX and others, and is bound to be a breakout piece of work for Vanessa.
