TWENTY ONE PILOTS - THE JUDGE (CROIX FLIP)

Sitting in my coastal bubble, when i think of Ohio i think of sports prowess and flyover country. Needless to say Cleveland based producer Croix has forced me to reevaluate this bias. Croix's remix of 21 Pilot's "The Judge" beefs up the hipster classic and makes it dance-floor-ready just in time for winter, adding to the steady flow of tracks to keep us warm while we wait for spring. My day today is totally bananas! I think I got too into my Thanksgiving break and forgot that I have one million things to do all the time ... but that's work, and holy crap my work makes me happy! Like this track for example, for my work it's my responsibility to find great artists like The Knocks years ago and write about their jams on BB and throw parties with them in multiple cities to support them on their rise to greatness!  DONE!  And then there is yung Manila Killa from that Moving Castle crew whom we've been swooning over and supporting from day one it seems, and are now watching and helping him find his way to greatness as well!  This is my job as Rave Nanny, to throw parties, write about, take care of and love amazing emerging artist - how is this real life?  Manila Killa crushed this remix of "Heat" by my babies The Knocks ... get on it!

[PREMIERE] FRENCH HORN REBELLION - SECOND OPINION (BEE'S KNEES REMIX)

We all need super sweet funky grooves in our lives, and when I am looking for this vibe one of my go to artist is French Horn Rebellion.  For years this Brooklyn duo has been filling our earbuds with great dance pop jams that are a wee bit corky and 100% rad. Today's premiere has our homies Bee's Knees flipping "Second Opinion" by French Horn Rebellion into a fantastic funky dance track with their future pop flavor shining through. Gotta love it when two artists like these guys who are super creative and fun get get together - results are always great! French Horn Rebellion's latest self-produced full length album "Classically Trained," is out now via Ensemble Records, and you can grab this Bee's Knees remix as a free download HERE!

No rest for the wicked - I'm here to please the electronic music lovers like yourself with our next premiere, and it's a super tasty one! Our homies Halogen are back at it again with their latest remix of "Holding On To You" by Two Can. This Atlanta duo has a knack for transforming funky dance tracks into hard hitting dance floor scorchers that do nothing short of lighting the room up! So, get your week started off by shakin' ya bootay ... Halogen are bae!  

LOST KINGS - PHONE DOWN (JUSTICE SKOLNIK REMIX)

Really - my only goals today are to eat all the mashed potatoes and pie I can ... because Thanksgiving deems it so! But, I know someone in America today is missing cool family things because they won't get off their phone! My brother had a girlfriend that was like this - always on her phone or playing Warcraft during holidays .. she sucked! So .... this song is for all y'all to put the fucking phone down and get into the people you are around, your family, your friends, whoever! Bay area producer Justice Skolnik offers his brilliant future feels spin on "Phone Down" by Lost Kings - it's delicious!

DRAKE - TOO GOOD (A&G REMIX) [VERONICA COVER]

Some people may have contrary opinions, but I personally love the trend of vocalist cover remixes of hit tracks. It has the ability to re-energize a sometimes overplayed radio tune and showcase some rising talent. This is just the case here with A&G's remix of Veronica's cover of Drake's "Too Good." This tropical jam may be hitting your ears with snow coming down outside, but regardless it should take you away to a bright and sunny place. Andrew and Gino (aka A&G) are definitely infusing their hometown of Miami into this piano laden bobbing record full of upbeat stabs, fun melodies and a grooving vox chop chorus that's going to sweep you off to that far away beach. Veronica's cover (found here) showcases her sweet take on the original and this remix definitely expands on that foundation. You can stream on Spotify here and download for free here.

MOONZZ - COME AROUND (NIKÖ BLANK REMIX)

Man the fantastic rabbit hole of MOONZz remixes just keeps getting deeper and deeper. I know it seems like we post a lot of MOONZz tunes, but with remixes like Nikö Blank's how could you not! Dive into this juicy and orchestral take on "Come Around." Nikö starts the record with layers of beautiful harps, pads, strings and piano creating a mystical sonic landscape that further enhances the hushed intensity of original's chord progression. In a sweep you off your feet build we're brought into a pumping future bass drop that's as hype as it is relieving. I say relieving merely because by the time we're finally brought up into those jump around chorus highs it feels soo completely right. Nikö did a tremendous job with both the sound design and arrangement of this remix incorporating lots of different synths, vox chops, percussion and even TRUMPETS.
