BIG Z - GALAXY (FEAT. HELEN TESS)

MusicMike DooseComment

Another feel-good track for y’all today! Since it’s Friday, why not? A newcomer to the BB pages today is Philadelphia-based feel-good house producer Big Z. Fans of Viceroy, Galantis, and Wave Racer will dig this guy. I'm really digging his production style. It makes me yearn for pool parties. Here’s his latest “Galaxy” which is a gloriously bouncy, uplifting track with perfectly fitting light and sweet vocals from Helen Tess (whose singing we heard back in October on this amazing SMLE track) that will have you tapping your foot and envisioning yourself dancing through space in no time!

FANCY CARS - SET ME ON FIRE FT. BRANDON HALL

Music, Original MixHarrison MorganComment

Oh Fancy Cars, you stand alone at the peak of the highest mountain with “Set Me On Fire”. Lyrics like “My heart is immortal/my body a flower in snow” just goes to show us Fancy Cars only makes music that is like no other and that can stand the test of time. Beautiful lyrics paired with the impeccable voice of Brandon Hall, we see “Set Me On Fire” stay true to future bass yet stand to dive into Indie Pop, which I feel is a perfect mix to utilize the great talent of Brandon Hall. I sure hope this is a pair that will continue to collaborate in the future.

HOTEL GARUDA - FIXED ON YOU (FEAT. VIOLET DAYS)

Music, Original MixEricComment

This last weekend brought the end of September, the start of October and a flurry of new releases. Hotel Garuda's new single "Fixed On You" came out last Friday, but I wasn't able to get a full Soundcloud live link until today so here we go! If you've been a BB listener/reader over the past couple years then you definitely know all about Hotel G. But for those new to Beautiful Buzzz or don't know, the duo comprised of Manila Killa and Candleweather have quickly grown from URL to IRL fame based on their forward thinking, melodic and dance floor ready music. This is their second major original release with the first being the highly anticipated "Smoke Signals" that came out last spring. "Fixed On You" is exactly the kind of Hotel Garuda release we expected, it starts out melodic and chill with string pads, and piano stabs filling in behind Sweden's Violet Days' pop friendly vocals. The track picks it up at the chorus with a killer dance drop full of beefy synth work, bongos and characteristically on point vocal chops. With so much traction, major festival performances and massive numbers it's hard to believe this is just the second Garuda original, regardless they've definitely hit this one out of the park. You can stream/purchase the new single from PRMD Music here.

[PREMIERE] RICO & MIELLA x TELYKAST - WORTH FIGHTING FOR

PREMIERE, Music, Original MixErin MaherComment

Honestly - what's happening in LA and electronic music is brilliant! My home town is like a manufacturing plant spewing out fantastic sounds every minute of every day. The city is overflowing with creativity and the great exodus out west is happening once again with young music makers and industry newbies hoping to make moves in the city of angels. Today's premiere is from aspiring LA duo TELYKast with their latest original "Worth Fighting For." New York electronic pop duo Rico & Miella provide super delicious vocals laid over a sick moody melody and huge synthy future beats!  All the feels with this one! You can swoop this one via iTunes HERE

BIG GIGANTIC - THE LITTLE THINGS (KASBO REMIX)

Music, RemixNathan ThostComment

Just in time for his upcoming show with Big Gigantic, Marshmello and Illenium at Red Rocks, Sweden's Carl Garsbo aka Kasbo has dropped a riveting remix of Big Gigantic's "The Little Things". The remix mellows out the track, setting a moodier backdrop for Angela McCluskey's vocals. This is just the kind of wavy, emotion driving track one could image playing as the sun sets behind the beautiful Rocky Mountain backdrop at Red Rocks this weekend. It's not hard to imagine seeing this guy headlining his own shows there in the near future. Grab a free download HERE!

BØRNS - AMERICAN MONEY (AWAY REMIX)

Music, RemixErin MaherComment

One of my most favorite new finds of the year, AWAY is proving to be a force to be reckoned with. This Los Angeles producer only starting releasing music this year, and so far he's handed us 4 perfect remixes that we've gone gaga over. His version of "American Money" by BØRNS has dark electro melodies with big future beats and sultry vocals. AWAY is becoming a key player in the remix game - he completely crushed this one! You guys can swoop this one via iTunes HERE!

MANILA KILLA - ALL THAT'S LEFT FT. JONI FATORA (THE M MACHINE REMIX)

Music, RemixEricComment

Yay! I'm definitely excited to see the "All That's Left" remix EP dropping today with some awesome reinventions of Manila Killa's breakout hit. Moving Castle studs Young Wall Street and TJANI provided diverse reworks as well as Myles Travitz, but I'm definitely going to give the nod to one of my favorite electronic artists The M Machine. The M Machine guys just have an uncanny ability to intellectually challenge the musical status quo while making tracks that are sooo sonically robust and well produced. Not to mention how they went wayy into left field in a good way with this remix. It doesn't even hardly resemble the original track, but has moments of greatness especially for me with the melody that hits a minute in and finishes it off at the 6 minute mark. We've come to expect nothing less from The M Machine and it seems like they deliver every freaking time!

JOYRYDE - FUEL TANK

Music, Original MixEricComment

Time to get hype! So at BB it seems like we try to split time between beautiful melodic nu disco, indie rock/pop, and house, but lately we've been repping a bunch of harder music. I personally love both, so I hope our listeners agree. Sometimes you just wanna go nuts and jump around like a buffoon and that's what JOYRYDE's new banger is all about. "Fuel Tank" features a 'murder the dancefloor' vocal sample that pretty much sums up this track. This track stays four on the floor giving it a future/G House vibe, but with serious trap influences. JOYRYDE is showing off in a good way with this one, even including a dramatic sample of Giuseppe Verdi's Requiem: Dies Irae. BOOM just laid some classical music knowledge on you! Ha ha regardless by the end you're left totally breathless. Nab that free DL here
