GAZZO - WATERFALL

Jersey's own Mike Gazzo is back again with a track that is 100% perfect for the summer vibes we're surrounded by. "Waterfall" is an endearing tune that is laid back and relaxing sped along by a heavy dose of ukulele that's present throughout. I could call this tropical, but it's a bit more than that. The vocal chops really define the chorus, and add a level of smirk to the tune that further solidify the good vibes. You can add this to your best summer Spotify playlist here.

TREY SONGZ - NOBODY ELSE BUT YOU (MOZADO REMIX)

I've always had a soft spot for Trey Songz, but most days in the form of a guilty pleasure and in the privacy of a pair of earbuds. Boston producer Mozado takes Trey Songz' new ballad "Nobody Else But You" in a way that keeps the emotion but retools the track for a more social environment. PURPORANGEJUICE - LOTUS

With a name like Purporangejuice, it’s gotta be good right? It sounds like a beverage concoction I would have made in the 8th grade cafeteria, but he’s really an impressively skilled producer making downtempo experimental future electronic music. This unique instrumental track “Lotus” is his debut, released via forward-thinking label Warpaint Records, which has quickly become known for uniquely talented artists in the electronic space regardless of their “genre.” 

Reminiscent of such virtuosic producers such as Mura Masa, Tennyson, or Electric Mantis, Purporangejuice’s “Lotus” is a chill journey through an array of iridescent synths, contemplative beats, and otherworldly sonics. One could liken it to floating through an interplanetary rainforest, which if you ask me is pretty freakin’ cool.

NOMBE - WAIT

Oh man am I excited to show you guys this new new from NoMBe. I'm having a long week already, and it's chill af tracks like this that keep my head on straight. Noah aka NoMBe has been steadily building a succulently soulful body of work, and I can tell you he's got some tracks upcoming that are fire as well. I got the chance to meet this dude over the weekend and he's the real deal. But don't take my word for it, hit play and dive in! LE YOUTH - IF YOU'RE LEAVING (FEAT. SYDNIE)

Oh man I'm totally feeling this amazing new jam from our BB fave Le Youth. He's taken his sexy 90's dance pop flare to create a chilled out groover of a record that's a perfect for this winter weather. The piano lead tune takes full advantage of Sydnie's calming voice and lyrical re-assurance that "you'll be coming back home to me". The subtle vox chops complement the mesmerizing nature of the instrumental that combines into a really feel good tune. This is the second release on his new Homewerk imprint and is an amazing follow up to his chart topper "Me Without You." We also heard the remix EP is dropping tomorrow with cuts from BitFunk, Futurewife, No Way Back and Love N Lerrone. MAZDE - WICKED WINDS

Man do I love me some Mazde! The young German producer sure knows how to create a vibe. Last month I shared "Neverland" feat. Khary, his foray into adding some rap onto his future bass-y, soundscape-y style (which ended up hitting the coveted #1 spot on HypeM). This time, I'm so jazzed on "Wicked Winds" which is more of a chill, chugging, atmospheric dance number. He creates an incredibly infectious rhythm with the airy percussion and layers over it the dreamiest of synth chords and vocal samples. Gorgeous use of attenuating filters draws attention to different parts of the mix. The end result is an otherworldly jam that would be the ideal soundtrack for cruising along the ocean coast at night. BILLIE EILISH - SIX FEET UNDER (JERRY FOLK REMIX)

I often talk about the love between me and this yung Norwegian producer ... like our story is one that no one else has ... but then I realize Jerry Folk is the kind of guy who spreads his love around. He keeps releasing one fantastic track after another, and at one time I thought they were all for me, but they're not ... they are actually all for you! He takes pride on making all of us swoon with his sweet jams, and once you think he's done ... he keeps coming back for more, sucking us into his web of awesomeness, making us feel like we are the only one who matters. Sigh .... Jerry Folk is breaking my heart today with his beautifully sad remix of "Six Feet Under" by Billie Eilish. It's his first remix released in almost a year and I love love love it!  Get ready to feel something! 

PANG! - CIGARETTE FEAT. CAMERON DOUGLAS

PANG! is somehow a group that wasn't on my radar. I got an email regarding this new single, and I instantly had to do some research. While this Swedish duo has remained in relative ambiguity, they've put up some insane numbers on Spotify with "Walking in the Sun" raking up 23 million streams and 524,329 monthly listeners. Their newest is a rework of a song they found through an online video posted from the featured vocalist Cameron Douglas. "Cigarette" is a joy to listen to with beautiful acoustic guitar work, folksy style vocals and tropical bells and xylophones. This song is a chilled out delight and is mellowing out my hump day. KAUF - KEY TO LIFE

One of the greatest feelings I experience is watching some of my most wonderful friends gain success in this very cut throat and saturated industry we all run around in. KAUF is a fabulous singer/songwriter from Los Angeles who I've been besties with for years, and 2016 has definitely been his breakout year. With an album completed and set for release in 2017, as well as killer live set, KAUF is poised for greatness. "Key To Life" is the third single from Regrowth, and this one is following suit with his signature sound - that dark synthy electro pop groove that is more like a spiritual journey rather than a song. Industry is flipping out over KAUF as well, and every time one of my peers brings up his name, I smile and think to myself .... finally people are seeing what I have seen all along. "Key To Life" is currently sitting at #1 on HypeMachine, and waking up to that has made my day! You guys can swoop this track HERE!
