2018’s most handsome collaboration goes to none other than Ekali and Medasin in their latest joint single, “Forever” featuring multi-instrumentalist super-babe, Elohim. Both Ekali and Medasin have undergone massive transitions in the last year- from an adored underground EDM scene, to playing festivals as prominent as Coachella and garnering support from Billboard Dance. Their synergistic, humble attitudes and hunger for innovation shine in “Forever,” allowing the track to stand as a prototype for their respective EDM sub-genres. Charming piano riffs delicately complement Elohim’s sultry, gritty psalms, while Ekali and Medasin manipulate a signature ebb and flow of experimental future-bass. This rousing piece is well-rounded, subtly romantic, and riddled with enchantment. As Ekali and Medasin continue their pursuits in their solo careers, “Forever” will stand as a pillar for their careers as creators. This three-piece dynamic is unparalleled and unafraid- stay tuned for more from these revolutionary visionaries.
Disclosure: Medasin is promoted by Beautiful Buzzz Staff Writer Hunter Thompson
Elohim seems to be the hot ticket right now. If you haven't heard her new tune with our homies Louis the Child "Love is Alive" you gotta get on dat. She's got this other ya knoww freaking charming original "Hallucinating" that's been on repeat in my headphones recently, and I was super stoked when Christofi sent over his version. If you're not too familiar with Christofi yet, you should start to get acquainted. He's steadily building a great catalogue of tunes that are legitimately unique from track to track. His recent "Temptation (feat. Ayer)" was a total feel good jam in much the same way as his version of "Hallucinating." I didn't think it was possible to make Elohim's original more upbeat and fun, but Christofi has found that lightning in a bottle. Pretty much all of Christofi's catalogue is great so I recommend checking all his tunes out on Spotify here. You can also download this remix for free here.
The last year has been phenomenal for Chicago duo Louis The Child, blasting onto the scene with hits like "It's Strange" and "Weekend". Gearing up for their next North American tour, the pair have teamed up with singer-songwriter Elohim to co-write & co-produce "Love is Alive". A combination of gently calming bass-lines and guitar riffs alongside the mellifluous vocals of Elohim, the track prioritized emotional impact above a high energy one. Definitely swing by Elohim's soundcloud to check out her truly impressive catalogue. Jump on this link to stream or buy "Love Is Alive", then swing by Louis The Child's Soundcloud if you've been living under a rock the last year and see what else these youngsters have been up to.

Ah yess another amazing "It's A Memory" remix! Fred Falke has lined up some killer artists to rework his single featuring slick versions by Amtrac (listen here), Chrome Sparks (here) and now Oliver! Coming off of rich remixes of Jack Ü's "To Ü ft. AlunaGeorge" and BORNS' "Electric Love." Oliver stays hot with a feel good, perfectly 80's take on the original with a groovier lead synth line of the original's melody, and oh soo funky bass. Oliver comes close to out-funking Fred Falke on this one ha ha, but lets be real no one can do that. The whole remix EP is due to drop on February 26th but you can grab that pre-sale here.
