CRYWOLF - NEVER BE LIKE YOU (FLUME COVER)

Normally I would not touch a cover of Flume, especially this song because it's so perfect -- how could anyone else possibly bring something new to the table. But ..... I should have known that the guy to pull it off would be Crywolf! This is kind of amazing and I'm swooning! Crywolf has that effect over me all the time - his angelic voice makes me swoon like a little girl .... oh boys! SWEATER BEATS & KAMAU - HEY YA

Our boy Sweater Beats just dropped a delicious new track, and who doesn't love a super siiick cover of "Hey Ya" by OutKast?  This is the first piece of new music we've seen from this New York producer in 2016, and he's flipped this classic track into a piece of future beats heaven. [PREMIERE] ASHWORTH - A THOUSAND MILES

Welcome to another fantastic Tuesday of releases with a total gem right here from New York's Ashworth. A newcomer to the BB pages, this bassoonist, vocalist and multi instrumentalist has created a fantasticly upbeat take on Vanessa Carlton's 2000's smash hit. Riding a great line between house and tropical vibes reminiscent of Sam Feldt, which I would highly recommend checking out his awesome Sam Feldt cover of 'Been A While' here. He's sped the pace up over the original with that classic piano line, upbeat strings, jovial melodic synths and smooth rhythm combining to give us a spring board of tropical dance goodness. His vocals put us at ease and turn this track into an instant favorite. We're excited for the many good things ahead for this talented producer. Such a great way to start my day!

FILOUS - FEEL GOOD INC. (GORILLAZ COVER)

This one flew under my radar, and I feel that is MUST be heard! There is another soundcloud glitch in the world of what is the soundcloud headache - and that is if a track is released on a big label, it's uploaded to soundcloud in the same way as iTunes or Spotify, so when the track goes live it is not re-uploaded to look like a fresh track - looks old. For example, this amazing filous cover of "Feel Good Inc." by Gorillaz dropped two days ago, yet the soundcloud player right now says it's 17 days old! Normally I would have passed putting this track up because it's too old ... but I decided to look closer because I love filous and could not believe I missed this! All these things make life a bit more annoying because I just have to waste time checking when tracks are actually released, but when you have music like this being put into the world I can't complain too much! filous is rad, this NEW cover is rad, and you can grab it from iTunes HERE!  

GAZZO - SWEATER WEATHER (THE NEIGHBOURHOOD COVER)

This was one of my favorite songs for a minute - I was loving The Neighbourhood so much at one time which is why I was happy to see this new cover of "Sweater Weather" from Los Angeles producer Gazzo.  He's put his shiny indie dance flavor all over this super viby version with big playfull beats and smooth vocals from Robbie Rosen - it's really great! AMY WINEHOUSE - REHAB (MARK JOHNS COVER PROD. TENNYSON)

I've been trying to get this one up for a few days now - and finally I found 2 seconds to catch up and give some love to our girl Mark Johns! She's been killing it lately - we have been feeling everything she's putting out into the world, and this new cover of break out single  "Rehab" from Amy Winehouse is bananas good! I especially love how she states in her SC description that her management is going to be pissed that she dropped this w/o permission - but I say more power to you girl! Drop that shit whenever you feel, we'll back you 100% of the time! Mark Johns puts a soulful sensual spin on this classic track - it's brilliant! GIRAFFAGE - MAKE YOU LOVE ME

Giraffage was one of my very first shows Beautiful Buzzz did as a new promoter in San Francisco, almost 3 years ago now! It's been so awesome to watch our friend and total legend grow, and on this day of love he's given us something very special.  I was trying to stay away from the computer today, but when something is this good .... good to where multiple people sent me texts saying "That new Giraffage tho ....." it cannot simply be overlooked!   Many of you youngsters may not know that "Make You Love Me" is a song from one of the most talented female music makers we've known, Bonnie Raitt.  Original track dropped in 1991 - and me being the old lady that I am, remember this song and used to sing it at the top of my lungs with my mom!  Good times!  Giraffage has put this signature future feels R&B sounds all over this beautiful ballad - it's pretty much the best thing I've heard in a minute!  Grab this one as a free download HERE and share the love   

KILLING ME SOFTLY (VENESSAMICHAELS X MOONZZ REDO)

This week we saw a ton of drama with a certain male DJ/Agent looking for young skinny attractive women only who can DJ and not suck. The community exploded in outrage when his follow up stated that this is what clubs are looking for, and he was simply doing his job because if he was interested in finding talented DJ's he would just hire men. I don't want to focus on this obvious douchebag guy that our industry is littered with, but I am so happy that the younger generation of industry men, the ones who are making huge moves and will be running things in the next 10 years, are just as outraged as us women.  It's been incredibly refreshing to have these young male artists and industry mavens (agents, PR, management) speaking up and letting other men know how wrong the sexism is in the industry and thst they do not support these idiotic ideas. Makes me think things are actually changing .... and it feels nice!  That being said - this week two of my most favorite ladies got together and crushed this redo of "Killing Me Softly" by The Fugees and I'm like - fuck ya girls! VenessaMichaels is quickly becoming a rising star for females in the industry and making top-notch future beats tracks that are better than most of everything out there! Teaming up with MOONZz for vocals on this track has got me doing that girl power dance all over the BB office ..... oh ladies you're on fire!!  You can grab this as a free download HERE! 

HEADLINES (DRAKE COVER) (ON PLANETS REMIX)

On Planets is like our very own finders/keepers artist! We were fortunate enough to be introduced to him before he started releasing music, and we did somersaults of joy over all this amazing sounds. We've supported every track released, and a few days back On Planets dropped another brilliant gem, remixing a cover of "Headlines" by Drake. Once again he gives us a scrumptious version with his signature sound of syncopated synthed out beats for that future feels vibe!  It's just so so so good!  You guys are in luck, because On Planets is offering this track as a free download HERE!
